We believe our marketplace model is the most effective way to deliver valuable career-focused educational content to our users.

These Terms apply to all your activities on the Skillify website, mobile applications, TV applications, APIs, and other related services ("Services").

If you publish a course on the Skillify platform, you must also agree to the Instructor Terms. We also provide details regarding our processing of personal data in our Privacy Policy. If you are using Skillify as part of your employer's corporate learning program, you can consult our Business Privacy Statement.

ARTICLE I: ACCOUNT

• You agree to pay all fees for content you purchase
• We work with payment service providers to offer secure payment methods

3.2 Refund Policy

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If purchased content doesn't meet your expectations, you can request a refund within 30 days of purchase, provided you haven't completed more than 30% of the content.

3.2.1 Refund Process

• Submit refund requests through your account or contact support
• Refunds may be processed as account credits or to your original payment method
• Subscription plans have separate refund terms (see Section 8)

3.2.2 Refund Restrictions

• No refunds after 30 days (except for legal/policy content removal)
• Suspected abuse of refund policy may result in refund denial or account restriction

4.4 Instructor Responsibilities

ARTICLE V: Skillify's Rights to Content You Post

5.1 Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you create and post. However, by posting content, you grant Skillify a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, distribute, and promote your content across our platform and marketing channels.

5.2 License Scope

This license includes the right to:

• Display your content on our platform
• Use your content in marketing and promotional materials
• Make your content available to enrolled learners
• Modify content for technical compatibility or platform optimization

5.3 Instructor Content Licensing

Instructors grant learners access to content through Skillify's platform. Direct licensing between instructors and learners outside our platform is prohibited.

6.1 Platform Disclaimer

Our platform enables user-generated content, and we do not review or edit all content for accuracy or completeness. You access and use content at your own risk and judgment.

6.2 Health and Safety Content

For courses involving physical activities, health, or wellness topics, you acknowledge inherent risks and voluntarily assume responsibility for your safety. Consult appropriate professionals before engaging in physical activities.

6.3 User Interactions

We do not control interactions between users. Exercise caution when sharing personal information and report inappropriate behavior through our reporting tools.

6.4 Third-Party Links

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or security of external sites.

You agree to indemnify Skillify against claims arising from your use of our Services, content you post, or violation of these Terms.

ARTICLE XI: Dispute Resolution

11.1 Informal Resolution

Before initiating formal proceedings, parties must attempt good-faith informal resolution by contacting our support team with a detailed description of the dispute.

11.2 Binding Arbitration

Disputes not resolved informally must be resolved through binding individual arbitration under American Arbitration Association rules. You waive the right to jury trial and class action participation.

11.3 Small Claims Court

Either party may pursue claims in small claims court in San Francisco, California, or your county of residence.

11.4 Class Action Waiver

Both parties waive the right to participate in class actions, consolidated proceedings, or representative actions, except as specifically provided for mass arbitration procedures.
