Course description

The course provides a comprehensive look at how to apply AI to core aspects of HR management. Starting with the market context and data from McKinsey, students clearly realize that AI is no longer a technology of the future but an essential tool in the present. The content is divided into 6 main parts, going from basic theory to detailed practice. Part 1 helps students understand the nature of AI and classify it into 2 groups: generative AI (such as ChatGPT, Claude) and AI integrated in management systems. AI is presented in 3 levels of application in HR: support, augmentation and automation. Part 2 guides smart HR planning, from predicting HR trends, building “What if” scenarios, to analyzing skill gaps - all practiced with ChatGPT and case studies from Google. Part 3 focuses on recruitment. Students learn how to use generative AI to write JDs, create recruitment content, design interview questions; and how integrated AI helps screen resumes, track candidates, predict behavior, and optimize processes. Part 4 covers time and payroll management, with facial recognition timekeeping technology, GPS tracking, anomaly alerts, and automatic payroll calculation according to Vietnamese regulations – with specific examples from the Tanca system. Part 5 focuses on assessment and development. Students learn how to use AI to build a competency framework, design a 3-year career path, evaluate 360-degree feedback, and propose a personalized learning path based on performance. Part 6 guides succession management and internal talent. AI supports identifying high-potential employees, assessing succession risks, creating a 5-year succession matrix, optimizing internal rotation, and building a skills market. Tanca case study shows the real-life effectiveness of AI application: reducing recruitment costs by 50%, increasing employee retention and satisfaction. The course provides not only knowledge but also practical tools, helping students be ready to deploy AI into HR work immediately.
